Those are from the files in your pak0 file. The one that is in your ID1 folder.

Indeed, hardkore is right. Those files *should* just work...
Are you sure you haven't got a mod addon loaded in QuArK, or maybe your install of the game is corrupt?

I think Dancing Dan is right....you have an addon that is not correct or your Q1 textures.qrk file is an old one.
The one you should have is the latest copy of
Q1Textures.qrk
Compare your texture names to the ones I show in mine (Image2.jpg)

Well, i just copied my ID1 folder from the quake cd-rom and still nothing.
I think I'll reinstall it later.

Check your QuArK Addons for Quake1 to be sure you are using the correct one
Q1Textures.qrk
, latest version,
and no others at this point.

Well I don't understand how that can be.
Because if you compare the texture names for my listing for "crate" and your listing for "crate" they do NOT match.
So there is something definitely different between those two .qrk files or where you are getting your listing from.
Try using the one attached below but save the one you are using now.

Did you re-install quake. not copy folders form the disc, i mean uninstall and do a fresh install making sure you backed up all your files first.
