Update from the front:

The good news: QuArK 6.6.0 Beta 5 will probably be released "soon".
The bad news: With cdunde's health situation and my no-time situation, QuArK development is once again at a standstill.

The bad news: With cdunde's health situation and my no-time situation, QuArK development is once again at a standstill. You can always hire me.

Dude, you have no programming skills and have demonstrated less than stellar Google-skills. No offense, but what do you think you have to offer to the QuArK development team?

Hey Dan, If you need someone to help test it before you make a release public to check for some bugs, I will be more then happy to help.  I do have a crap ton of games that Quark supports.

Thanks for the offer, but I probably won't be needing that. Of course there will be no bugs! Grin

That's the main reason it's "soon" and not "now". Wink

We mainly need programmers. Currently, that means people with good Python- and preferably also Delphi-skills. (For QuArK7, that would be Python- and C++-skills, and a good knowledge of how to write a program from scratch.)

Of course, addon-creators are always useful to have around; it won't be a full-time job, but it's equally important.

@DanielPharos, I'm looking forward to Beta 5. Beta 4 works for me flawlessly, but I'd love an updated build.

Dan, I know your time is very limited, if you have any at all,
but I would like to try and finish up the KeyFrames function for the Model Editor so it can go out with 5.

I have the rotation working correctly now, for models with bones, in some cases
but I need help with the code for those other weird situations
and when there is more then one set of bones and their children for multiple rotations.

I think we could knock it out in one good session.
Hope you can find a few hours before too long.

Great job, downloading it right now.

Too bad development has ceased. At least the source is public, maybe someone picks it up to continue maintain it, or resume developing QuArK 7.

Downloaded and installed.

Quake 1 works without a hitch.
