nono i mean the original Quake 2 game's default maps, like base1, base2, hangar1, hangar2, city1, city2, etc...
i need them in .map format

I'm quite sure those were never released, and that they are still copyrighted by id Software. So even if you did find them, or decompile them, you can't use them without explicit written permission of id Software.

http://www.merfax.com/quake/default.htm   Look for ".map" on the site (no quotes).

But why do you want random .map files? And why can't you use Google yourself?
